Moreland Schools

Latimer School is partnering with Peninsula Youth Theatre to offer after-school theatre classes. Students will learn the basics of acting, character development, storytelling, and theater terminology while having fun and rehearsing a short play--The Trial of Goldilocks. The program culminates in a final performance for family and friends. Students will be responsible for attending all classes (except when ill) and memorizing lines outside class. Parents will be responsible for providing their child’s simple costume and helping with memorization at home.

La escuela Latimer se está asociando con el Teatro Juvenil de la Península para ofrecer clases de teatro después de la escuela. Los estudiantes aprenderán lo básico de la actuación, el desarrollo de personajes, la narración de historias y la terminología teatral, mientras se divierten y ensayan una obra corta: El Juicio de Ricitos de Oro. El programa culmina con una presentación final para familiares y amigos. Los estudiantes serán responsables de asistir a todas las clases (excepto cuando estén enfermos) y de memorizar sus líneas fuera de clase. DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Wednesday, February 18, 2026

Please note: You are registering your child for the waitlist. If you child is selected to participate in the class, their name and information will be moved from the wait list to the class roster. You will be notified if your child is placed in this class. A saved method of payment must be saved to your Eleyo profile. If a method of payment is not saved, your child's enrollment will be forfeited.

There is no cost to register for the waitlist. If your child is selected for the class, your card on file will be charged the class fee of $200. Financial assistance is available. To see if you qualify, click here to complete the application.
