Enrichment ClassesM.O.R.E. stands for Moreland’s Opportunities for Recreation and Enrichment, and we are excited to launch this new program this year! Under our M.O.R.E Program, Moreland School District offers after-school enrichment classes at all school sites. The after-enrichment classes operate throughout the school year. Spaces are limited! Upon registering, your child will be placed on a waitlist. After the registration period, students will be selected for classes. Any account without a saved payment method will not be processed, and your child's enrollment will be forfeited. If your child is selected: They will be placed on the class roster. Your card on file will be charged the class fee. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt of payment. If you qualify for financial assistance and your child is placed on the class roster your account will not be charged the class fees. You will receive an email confirmation. Please see below for important registration notes and how to save a payment method to your account. Should you have any questions, please email moreprograms@moreland.org or call (408) 874-3479. IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTES To register for a class, you must create an Eleyo profile. Your child(ren) must be added to your Eleyo profile. To do this, select "Add Family Member / Relationship" and follow the prompts. A saved method of payment must be linked to your Eleyo profile. You must click on the "Checkout" button at the end of registering for a class. Failure to do so will make your registration incomplete, and your child will not be placed on the waitlist. Your payment method will not be charged if you qualify for financial assistance. Students can only register for classes offered at the school they are attending. If your child misses class or you decide to withdraw your child from the class for any reason, a refund will not be issued. Extended Day ProgramMoreland Extended Day is a high quality before and after school program. Extended Day sites are located on campus and provide care exclusively to Moreland School District students throughout the school year and on teacher in-service days. During your child's time at Extended Day, they will have opportunities to foster friendships with their peers while expanding their learning through student inspired clubs and workshops. Our curriculum also includes daily homework time, snack, recess, outdoor group games, and a variety of STEAM activities. The California Legislature has approved ongoing funding for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). In conjunction with the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program, the Moreland School District is able to provide free programs for TK-6th grade students who meets specific criteria including English Language Learners, Socio-economically disadvantaged, and Foster youth through our Moreland Opportunities for Recreation and Enrichment Program (M.O.R.E). Moreland Extended Day operates under our M.O.R.E Program. The Extended Day Program is open to all Moreland School District students. Currently we have the Extended Day Program operating at Baker, Country Lane, EDS, Latimer and Payne campuses. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
