Disneyland Performing Arts Soundtrack Field Trip

Moreland School District offers 8th grade band and orchestra students the opportunity to participate in the Disneyland Performing Arts Soundtrack session May 7, 2026 to May 10, 2026 in Anaheim, California. The cost of the trip is $880. Please see below for the payment options. A limited amount of partial scholarships are available for those with a financial hardship. Payment Options

Payments can be made using a credit card or an electronic transfer from your checking or savings account. 

  1. Pay in full at the time of registration
  2. Pay in installments. The first installment of $100 will be due at the time of registration. Subsequent installments of $130 will auto-draft on November 6, December 6, January 6, February 6, March 6 and April 6.
  3. Request for a partial scholarship due to a financial hardship. 

Effective July 1, 2025, a 3.69% processing fee will be added to all payments. This will be listed as a program fee on your invoice.

Steps to Register

  1. Under the 25/26: Disneyland Field Trip, click on the "3 Options Available" drop down menu
  2. Then, click on the "Enroll Now" button
    • If you have an Eleyo profile, enter your login information to register
    • If you do not have an Eleyo profile, you will need to select "Create One Now" under your name and add your child to your profile by clicking on "Add a Relationship"

TRIP DETAILS

The 90-minute Disney Performing Arts Soundtrack Session provides music students an opportunity to experience a professional recording session. They will be working with a professional conductor/clinician, recording several Disney movie soundtrack pieces, and hearing THEIR recording while seeing an actual Disney film clip on a big screen. 

DATES OF TRIP: May 7 - May 10, 2026 

TEACHERS IN CHARGE: Lisa Herdegen, Nils Johnson, Katie Watts 

COST PER STUDENT: $880 

NUMBER OF CHAPERONES: A MINIMUM of one chaperone for every ten students is required. 

TRANSPORTATION: Royal Coach Lines Charter Coaches, (3 buses) 

LODGING: Embassy Suites Hotel, Orange, CA; There are 3 to 5 students per room/suite. Rooming assignments are made prior to your arrival with feedback from students.

SAMPLE ITINERARY 

DAY 1 Thursday, May 7, 2026  Depart EDS or MMS at 2:00 PM,  Dinner en route (fast food, BRING $),  Arrive Embassy Suites Hotel, Orange, at ~10:30 PM

DAY 2 Friday, May 8, 2026 Breakfast buffet at hotel 6:45-7:15am,  Spend the entire day and evening at Disneyland/California Adventure (2-Day HOPPER pass included), Enjoy Lunch & Dinner in the park (included)

DAY 3 Saturday, May 9, 2026 Breakfast buffet at hotel 7:00-7:30am,  *Disney Performing Arts Soundtrack Session performance workshop (time TBA),  Spend the entire day at Disneyland/California Adventure, Enjoy Lunch & Dinner in the park (included)

DAY 4 Sunday, May 10, 2026 Breakfast buffet at hotel 7:30-8:00am,  Depart Anaheim at 8:30 AM,  Lunch en route (fast food, BRING $),  Anticipated arrival EDS and MMS at ~4:00 PM
