  • After-School Enrichment Classes

    M.O.R.E. stands for Moreland’s Opportunities for Recreation and Enrichment. Under our M.O.R.E Program, Moreland School District offers after-school enrichment classes at all school sites. The after-school enrichment classes operate throughout the school year. Spaces are limited! Upon registering, your child will be placed on a waitlist. After the registration period, students will be selected for classes. Any account without a saved payment method will not be processed, and your child's enrollment will be forfeited. If your child is selected: They will be placed on the class roster. Your card on file will immediately be charged the class fee. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt of payment. If you qualify for financial assistance and your child is placed on the class roster your account will not be charged the class fees. You will receive an email confirmation. IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTES To register for a class, you must create an Eleyo profile. If you already have an Eleyo account, please login. Your child(ren) must be added to your Eleyo profile. To do this, select "Add Family Member / Relationship" and follow the prompts. A saved method of payment must be linked to your Eleyo profile. You must click on the "Checkout" button at the end of registering for a class. Failure to do so will make your registration incomplete, and your child will not be placed on the waitlist. If you are eligible and awarded 100% financial assistance ,your account will not be charged the class fees. Students can only register for classes offered at the school they are attending. If your child misses class or you decide to withdraw your child from the class for any reason, a refund will not be issued.   • Camp Moreland

    Camp Moreland offers engaging themed activities throughout the day for students in the Moreland School District entering grades K-6th. Each session, students will have the opportunity to participate in fun-filled opportunities, all while making new friends! As an added bonus children will also get to participate in "Brain Boost Time" where academics will be reviewed. Camp Moreland will be held June 17-July 26 (no camp June 19, July 4 and July 5) from 8 AM - 4 PM. Morning care will also be offered from 7:00 - 8:00 AM. This summer camp will be held at Easterbrook Discovery School located at 4835 Doyle Road in San Jose. Spaces are limited and students will be placed through a selection process. The deadline to register is March 22, 2024. If your contract is approved you will receive an email confirmation approximately two weeks after the registration period ends and your account will be immediately charged the non-refundable $60 registration fee per child using your saved payment method. We can only approve contracts with a valid card on file. If your contract is not approved, your child's name will automatically be placed on our waitlist. The camp supervisor will notify you via email when space becomes available. Confirmation emails will only be sent to approved contracts. All Camp Moreland fees will be invoiced and emailed to the Eleyo account holder by April 24, 2024. Please see rates below. A 15% sibling and/or 20% employee discount will be applied to contracts that meet the criteria. Tuition fees for Session 1 and Session 2 approved contracts is will be auto-drafted on May 1, 2024.     EDS Sports

    Moreland School District offers EDS students (6th-8th only) the opportunity to participate in an organized after-school sports program within the West Valley Athletic League. The District and MEF do not charge fees for after-school sports participation; however, we request that each family make a financial donation when registering their child for each athletic program. Donations pay for coaching stipends, new equipment and uniforms, transportation costs, referees, and other related expenses. All donations are made to the Moreland Education Foundation (501(c)3); therefore, all contributions are tax-deductible and available for corporate matching. If you cannot make a donation, or wish to make a corporate match, please contact the athletic director or school office for the appropriate promo code.   • Extended Day Program

    Moreland Extended Day is a high quality before and after school program. Extended Day sites are located on campus and provide care exclusively to Moreland School District students throughout the school year and on teacher in-service days. During your child's time at Extended Day, they will have opportunities to foster friendships with their peers while expanding their learning through student inspired clubs and workshops. Our curriculum also includes daily homework time, snack, recess, outdoor group games, and a variety of STEAM activities. The California Legislature has approved ongoing funding for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). In conjunction with the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program, Moreland School District may provide free programs for TK-6th grade students who meets specific criteria including English Language Learners, Socio-economically disadvantaged, and Foster youth through our Moreland Opportunities for Recreation and Enrichment Program (M.O.R.E). Moreland Extended Day operates under our M.O.R.E Program. The Extended Day Program is open to all Moreland School District students. Currently we have the Extended Day Programs operating at all Moreland School District campuses. Please see specific sites for program offerings. There are a fees associated with all field trip and partial financial assistance may be available. If you have any questions regarding this field trip, please contact your child's music instructor.
